Vintage Rookwood Floral Celadon Vase #6363 Orig Cast by Shirayamadani

The Grand Antique Mall, located in Cincinnati, Ohio, presents a Vintage Rookwood Pottery in-relief floral vase in the Celadon Gloss Glaze line, dated 1958. The vase's shape number, 6363, was originally designed and cast by Kataro Shirayamadani.

Encircling the vase are leaves and flowers with geometrical designs; above the flowers are single stems of lily-of-the-valley. DIMENSIONS: 5-1/2"H x 4"W. No cracks, chips, hairlines, discoloration, bubbles or repairs. ABOUT THE COMPANY: Cincinnati's Rookwood Pottery opened its doors in 1880 and continues to be the most celebrated and famous pottery created in America. By the time Rookwood merged with Tiffany & Company in 1967, Rookwood's Great Depression financial losses could not be overcome, and Rookwood Pottery closed its kilns the same year.
