FRED KAYE MID CENTURY MODERN HAND PAINTED 3D WALL ART! Fred Kaye realized people wanted unique art! This is a rare pair of Kaye's 3-D "molded" plastic wall art! The art is a fifties take on still lifes! Designs all have a fabulous "3D" molded treatment.

A master cast of the art would be made and some of the early, early plastic material would be placed in the press. After the mold would cool it would be hand painted and framed!

Such a unique bit of California Modernism history! They just don't make anything like this anymore! Authentic decor for a grand mid century restoration! If you lived through the fifties or sometime after when these early plastic pieces were still around this will be a wonderful time machine! This work is in very fine vintage condition, the plastic shows expected age and the turqoise and pink colors are just as nice as they were over sixty years ago!

A testament to the quality Kaye put into his work! A Delightful addition to your NY penthouse, Palm Springs Atomic Ranch or West Palm Beach estate! Condition on both Very Good with damage. Some pull away from frame (3-D Pic has come unglued I slightly pulled away but NO DAMAGE as shown).

Fragile stickers applied to all sides of boxes & on top to insure safe arrival. I take great pride in being very honest about condition and description of each item. I do my best to accurately identify, thoroughly inspect items, and include detailed descriptions, noting any imperfections.
